Never thought I would be busy installing a Womb sculpture in a new media setting. I love contradictions!

Here I'm moving the Womb to the expoplace at IDFA DOCLAB in de Tolhuistuin. There I will install it to give image and fysicality to the lovely VPRO programme Cycle Club - where the influence of the cycle is being researched and discussed. The exhibition will be open untill sunday 28th and features creme the la creme of interactive and new media art and stories.

The Womb is a very powerful organ, home to all creatures, symbol of care and nurture, exactly what i wish for society these cold days. The womb is warm.
