Hiding Places: The Dressing Room

[Aluminum framing / white cotton/ polyester curtains]

This piece is the third in the series Hiding Places: sheds/ shelters created for busy areas in the city. This white dressing room was placed on several spots on the busy Amsterdam Ten Kate market. It was documented in many pictures of which I am currently constructing a stop motion. The surrealistic white dressing room invoked very diverse reactions from the market people: laughter, anger, interest, agression etcetera. The more adventurous people entered or passed through it.
